The Sports Capital Programme (SCEP) can help! The SCEP is a government funding scheme that provides grants to assist in the development or refurbishment of sports facilities and the provision of sports equipment.

What can you apply for?

The SCEP can fund a wide range of projects, including:

• The construction of new sports facilities
• The refurbishment of existing sports facilities
• The purchase of sports equipment
• The provision of training and development

How much funding can you get?

The amount of funding you can get depends on the size and type of project you are applying for. For local projects, the maximum grant is €200,000. For regional projects, the maximum grant is €500,000.

How do you apply?

To apply for funding, you need to register with the SCEP online portal. The portal will open for applications on 17 July 2023.
